The Next Evolution of ThermNight
As the latest addition to DNT’s best-selling ThermNight series, the TNC4K219R brings enhanced 4K digital day & night vision and advanced thermal imaging together in one multispectral optic. Equipped with a built-in laser rangefinder, the DNT Ballistic Engine, and IR illumination, it delivers an all-in-one solution for fast detection and accurate identification across diverse hunting and shooting scenarios.
Thermal & Digital in One View for Better Decisions
Wide Thermal View for Faster Detection
Featuring a high-sensitivity 12 µm sensor with ≤18 mK NETD, the TNC4K219R captures subtle heat signatures even in complete darkness. Its 2x base magnification and wide 9.2°×6.9° thermal FOV enhance situational awareness, making close-to-mid-range scanning faster and easier.

4K Clarity for Confident Identification
The 3840×2160 CMOS sensor delivers lifelike imaging with fine detail for more accurate target identification, reducing the risk of misidentification. An integrated IR illuminator ensures visibility in low-light conditions for up to 450 yards.
Powered by a 8.8°×4.9° digital FOV, 3–24x magnification, and 3–6x lossless digital zoom, it keeps your perspective wide while delivering sharp, uncompromised clarity at any distance.

2100-Yard Laser Rangefinder with DNT Ballistic Engine
The TNC4K219R features DNT’s most powerful laser rangefinder, measuring from 5 to 2100 yards and delivering real-time ballistic solutions through the DNT Ballistic Engine.
Ballistic profiles can be synced via the DNT App and selected directly on the device for consistent performance across calibers and distances.

Thermal Auto Zeroing:
Simple Setup, Dual Accuracy
Zero once on the digital channel, and the thermal view automatically follows. This intuitive feature eliminates the need for separate adjustments, making setup faster and easier.
Thermal Zoom Lock:
Scan Wider, Identify Faster
With Thermal Zoom Lock, the thermal image stays at base magnification to preserve a wider field of view, while the digital view zooms in for detailed target identification.

Complete Setup, Added Value
The TNC4K219R comes with key accessories included, delivering a ready-to-use setup right out of the box.
Comfort, Control & Reliability

The DNT App:
Seamless Connectivity & Smart Features
With One Tap Connect, the DNT App links the optic and mobile device instantly. Sync custom ballistic profiles, stream live view, manage recordings, and share hunt highlights — all at your fingertips.
Built for the Field
From dense woodland hunts to dynamic range sessions, the TNC4K219R delivers the clarity, awareness, and versatility needed across changing conditions, day or night.

FAQ
More detail, more flexibility, and a better viewing experience. The TNC4K219R combines a 3x base magnification and wider field of view for easier stalking and tracking, 3–6x lossless zoom for getting closer without sacrificing image quality, and up to 24x magnification for revealing more detail at longer distances
They’re set up for different hunting, not ranked one above the other.
Choose the TNC225R if you hunt mostly at night, or thermal is your main channel at distance or in less-than-ideal conditions. Its 25 mm thermal lens gives a larger, more detailed thermal image, and in DNT’s field testing it holds up better in mist, rain and humidity, with 3× base and up to 12× thermal magnification. Its Sony STARVIS 2 day/night sensor gave the cleaner night image in our own use, and the day/night channel starts at 5× for longer shots. It’s also lighter and shorter (646 g, 170 mm), which you’ll feel on a lighter rifle or a long walk.
Choose the TNC4K219R if you hunt mostly in daylight, in bush and close-to-mid range, or shoot a harder-recoiling rifle. In daylight its 4K sensor and 1920×1080 display give a noticeably sharper, more detailed image than a 1080p channel, ideal for judging an animal before the shot. At night its wider 19 mm thermal (about 16 m wide at 100 m) finds and follows heat quickly at close range, and the 4K day/night channel handles identification and aiming. Its 65 mm eye relief (vs 45 mm) keeps the eyepiece well clear of your eye under heavy recoil and makes it quicker to get behind the scope. It also adds a longer-range LRF (up to about 1,900 m vs 1,000 m), 64 GB storage, a 21700 battery (5h 45m) and Thermal Auto Zeroing.
The TNC225R’s 25 mm thermal lens gives a larger, more detailed thermal image at distance: about a third more pixels on the animal than the TNC4K219R’s 19 mm. In DNT’s field testing it also holds a clearer thermal image in less-than-ideal conditions such as mist, rain or humidity. On a deer-sized animal it recognises out to roughly 415 m and identifies to about 210 m, against about 315 m and 160 m for the 19 mm (best-case figures; weather shortens both).
The TNC4K219R’s 19 mm sees about a third wider (about 16 m at 100 m), which makes close-range scanning and following moving animals much easier. For thermal at distance and in poor conditions, the TNC225R; for bush and close-to-mid range, the TNC4K219R.
They’re tuned differently. The TNC225R uses a Sony STARVIS 2 low-light sensor with larger pixels that each gather more light. In our own field use it gives the cleaner, brighter night image, especially when you zoom in. The TNC4K219R’s 4K sensor has smaller pixels; it makes up for them with a brighter f/1.8 lens and by scaling the 4K image onto its display. It’s strongest in daylight, dusk and dawn, where its extra resolution shows the most detail. In full darkness both rely on their IR illuminator.
The 19 mm thermal lens is intentionally selected to optimize the TNC4K219R for multispectral detection and identification. Compared with the TNC225R, it provides over 30% wider thermal FOV, making it easier to scan a larger area and quickly detect heat signatures.
The 19 mm design also allows the thermal objective to be positioned above the Day/Night Objective, creating space for an upgraded 50 mm f/1.8 Day/Night Objective Lens. This delivers up to 40% higher detail resolution than the TNC225R’s 52mm f/2.4 lens, strengthening the Day/Night channel’s ability to identify targets and support precise aiming.
The result is a deliberate division of roles: thermal imaging provides a wider view for detection, while 4K day and night vision delivers the detail needed for identification and aiming.
Thermal Auto Zeroing automatically adjusts the thermal reticle position based on your Day/Night zero.
Enter the correct zero distance, then zero the Day/Night channel first . The system will automatically calculate the corresponding thermal reticle position. You can then follow the on-screen instructions to fine-tune the thermal channel if needed.
● Always zero the Day/Night channel first. Thermal Auto Zeroing works in one direction and does not change previously saved Day/Night coordinates.
● For detailed step-by-step instructions, please refer to the user manual.
The ThermNight TNC4K219R includes a standard 2-year warranty.
