30-day returns. You may return any item bought from engageoptics.co.za within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused, in its original condition and packaging, with all accessories and your proof of purchase. If you bought online, you may also cancel within 7 days of delivery for any reason under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Defective items. If an item is defective, unsafe or not fit for purpose, you may return it within 6 months of delivery under the Consumer Protection Act and choose a repair, a replacement or a refund. We arrange and pay for the courier both ways within South Africa. Beyond 6 months, day optics are covered by our lifetime warranty and digital products by a 2-year warranty. Claims go through warranty.arkenoptics.co.za.
How to return. Email lynette@engageoptics.co.za with your order number, the item and the reason before sending anything. We will send you a return authorisation and instructions. Items sent without authorisation may be refused. Please do not send anything to the manufacturer.
Shipping. For non-defective returns you pay the return shipping and the original delivery charge is not refunded. Our address is 5 Dewberry Drive, Bel’Aire Winelands Estate, Somerset West, 7135.
Refunds. Once we have received and inspected the item we will email you to confirm approval. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days; your bank may take a few days more to show it. Where a payment gateway charges a fee on the refund, that fee is deducted unless the return is for a defect or our error.
